The social media is becoming a requirement to join consumers, build your brand and increase your sales and benefits but you must follow some rules. So do you want to increase your social media marketing experience for your business?! Just follow these 10 twitter commandments. Let’s start!
1. Be a specialist not generalist: a good tweet must be short and relevant.
2. Quality not quantity: the quantity of tweeters is not important if they have no value. It is better to have 1,000 contacts online who read and share your contends than 10,000 contacts who disappear after the first contact with them.
3. Neglect is not in your vocabulary: an inactive and complacent Twitter account is unprolific for your business. Do not ignore people who contact you online even if it is not the type of profile you are looking for. And you can lose easily your followers by this way.
4. Keep your own private life: make statements about your own life or achievement are not good for business. You must separate your personal and professional life.
5. Reciprocity: do not expect the sharing of your contents by the others tweeters if you do not. And make sure you expect to be retweet before you retweet. The most part of your time on Twitter is the share of the contents.
6. Do not spam: you will lose some followers. The information should not be abusive. Mark down is the key thanks to your contents and the high quality of your discussion which transmit objective and useful information for the community.
7. The presentation is important: serious profile picture is required to convince.
8. Twitter stay Twitter: so do not use twitter for stalking.
9. Personalize your messages: Forget to send automated messages to new followers.
